The tolls at Blackwall and Silvertown have a built-in anti-Bexley bias with small businesses in Bexley unable to access discounts and drivers having to pay hundreds of pounds a year more than those in north London because of the uni-directional surcharge. Following the Government’s decision to now hike the Dartford crossing charges, will you address this by extending small business discounts into Bexley and scrapping the uni-directional surcharge?

We have already heard today about the CSR and it delivering a multiyear settlement for TfL around capital investment so that we can replace Tube trains and buses, but unfortunately there were not any commitments to fund the Bakerloo line extension. I am just wondering if there are any alternatives that you are looking at in terms of funding mechanisms to build the extension.
