It has been reported in the news recently that the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) will be transferring Safer Schools Officers (SSOs) into neighbourhood teams. Six organisations (Palestine Solidarity Campaign, Friends of Al-Aqsa, Stop the War Coalition, Muslim Association of Britain, Palestinian Forum in Britain and Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament) co-ordinating the demonstrations calling for a ceasefire and an end to the genocide in Gaza recently wrote you a letter dated 28 March asking for an urgent meeting to discuss policing of protest.
