Thank you for your answer to my question 2022/3628, in which you said: “There is, however, an example of Report a Rogue tool referrals alerting a borough to a rogue landlord, the private tier of the Checker being used to cross reference other borough records, and a successful banning order being issued as a result.” Could you tell me how many rogue landlords, per borough, per year, have been banned using this mechanism, since the database was introduced and could you provide the information in table format?

Deferred Prosecution Pilot

  • Reference: 2023/4830
  • Question by: Caroline Russell

I understand that the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) Project ADDER is trialling a Deferred Prosecution Pilot. Can you confirm whether this “diversion” programme is on street diversion, pre or post arrest diversion, or court diversion and how this is recorded for the purposes of Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks?

How is the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) measuring the success of Project ADDER and what KPIs and targets does the MPS have for the project?

Project ADDER harm reduction

  • Reference: 2023/4828
  • Question by: Caroline Russell
  • Meeting date: 21 December 2023
How is Project ADDER helping with drug harm reduction? Are you and the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) tracking metrics such as rates of overdoses and times to access drug treatments in each of the boroughs involved?

Project ADDER information sharing

  • Reference: 2023/4827
  • Question by: Caroline Russell
  • Meeting date: 21 December 2023
Project ADDER has trialled in Tower Hamlets and Hackney since July 2021. Could you tell me what, if any, information sharing there has been between third sector organisations and the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) related to Project ADDER and if authorisation was given by the data subjects for that data to be shared?

Impact of Project ADDER on stop and searches

  • Reference: 2023/4826
  • Question by: Caroline Russell
  • Meeting date: 21 December 2023
On a site visit with the London Assembly Police and Crime Committee to Bethnal Green custody suite to hear from Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) officers about the Project ADDER trial we heard that stop and search is like: ‘taking a bulldozer to an archaeological dig’. Are you concerned that rates of stop and search for drugs in Tower Hamlets, where Project ADDER is being trialled, are above the London average?
