Providing benefits from the delay in reopening Kentish Town

Constituents have raised with me their dismay at the announcement by Transport for London (TfL), that the reopening of Kentish Town station after escalator refurbishment works, has been delayed. While the station is closed for this additional time, will TfL conduct a more thorough exploration of the feasibility of adding step-free access, plus other necessary improvements to this station?

Richmond councillors have asked if Transport for London (TfL) will consider investing in improvements to the R70 bus route, such as returning frequency to its previous pattern of six buses an hour and increasing to double decker capacity at peak times, given the importance of this route to residents in Hampton, Hampton North, Fulwell and Hampton Hill?
