I’ve been told Disabled Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) officers have said the engagement process during the CONNECT implementation did not go far enough, and that they were worried about being penalised for poor performance, or managed out of their roles due to the lack of accessibility aids for CONNECT. Do you agree that involving Disabled officers and staff at the start of any project that would affect them is the best thing to do and will you encourage the MPS to make more use of co-production models when dealing with equality...

The National Police Chief’s Council (NPCC) encourages officers not to “start from a position that treats sex workers as criminals simply for being sex workers or engaging in practices that have been undertaken to increase their own personal safety, such as, ‘managing or keeping brothels.’” How are you ensuring that this is put into practice by the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS)?
