The Office of the Mayor has funded (in whole or in part) two temporary pools in the London Borough of Hillingdon (LBH):
- Between January and April 2015, at the Belmore Primary Academy, Owen Road, Hayes UB4 9LF
- January and March 2016, at the Harefield Academy, Harefield, UB9 6PS
These pools have been promoted in the press as part of the Mayor's Olympic Legacy Programme. Therefore, you are expected to be custodian of the records and under the Freedom of Information Act I ask that you provide:
- information on how these sites were chosen, including details of what applications were made by any party, and copies of those applications -- including, but not limited to the LBH -- to secure these facilities.
- details of the overall cost structure for these temporary pools.
- accounting for the amount paid by each institutional funder for each of these pools (e.g. the LBH, the Office of the Mayor/ GLC, Olympic or Post-Olympic funding bodies, the Schools where the pools were cited).
- information on costs paid on a per user basis, regardless of payee. For example, LBH offers free swimming to over 65's but typically must reimburse operators at other leisure facilities for attendances by this group).
- accounting on receipts as immediately above
- details on the number of users with all available breakout in demographics (e.g. school swimming lessons, adult swimming lessons, leisure sessions).
