Additional information provided via third party consultation:
When bringing the Every One, Every Day demonstration project to a close in 2023, the Charity went to great lengths, through a widely consulted upon and robust process, to ensure that all assets under the control of Participatory City were wherever possible allocated to community groups in Barking and Dagenham, and that where this was not possible, or there was no demand, equipment and materials, etc. were sold and the income retained locally in the Borough.
This link includes a schedule of where the assets were in the Borough after their transfer to community groups at the time: Asset Rehousing — Every One Every Day
With regards to the Warehouse in Thames Street, the short-term lease provided by the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham to Participatory City Foundation was terminated as part of the closure of the project and the asset returned to the control of the Council, which assumed responsibility for determining its future use.
