I would be grateful if you could also provide the following in relation to the Motspur park Gas Holder planning application.
- The date and purpose of the Deputy Mayors site visit.
- The names, organisations and roles of all those who attended the visit.
- Confirmation of whether the visit was undertaken with the applicant only or if the landowner and any other parties were present.
- Confirmation of whether local residents, objectors or other interested parties were invited to attend or given an opportunity to present their concerns during the visit.
- Copies of any briefing notes, agendas, presentation materials, plans, photographs, emails, minutes or notes prepared before, during or after the visit.
- Details of any discussions relating to the planning merits of the application that took place during the visit.
- A copy of any GLA policy, protocol or guidance governing site visits by the Deputy Mayor or other planning decision-makers in relation to live planning applications, including how impartiality is maintained where visits take place with an applicant before a public hearing.
- Any documents, briefing notes, assessments, correspondence or internal advice relating to the environmental impacts of the proposed development, including consideration of MOL, biodiversity, air quality, climate impacts, urban greening and the balancing exercise undertaken when assessing these matters
Our response
- The site visit was held 14 July 2026, and was intended to allow the Deputy Mayor a chance to understand the setting and context of the site
- The attached site pack contains a list of job titles of those who visited. TfL – Assistant Planner also attended.
- Please find attached the site visit pack with attendees. Please note that some names of members of staff are exempt from disclosure under Regulation 13 (Personal information) of the EIR. Information that identifies specific employees constitutes as personal data which is defined by Article 4(1) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to mean any information relating to an identified or identifiable living individual. It is considered that disclosure of this information would contravene the first data protection principle under Article 5(1) of GDPR which states that Personal data must be processed lawfully, fairly and in a transparent manner in relation to the data subject
- This is not the purpose of the visit, the views of local residents and objectors was heard during the hearing.
- Please find attached a copy of the site visit pack. The purpose of this was for GLA staff to show the Deputy Mayor around the site.
- None, this was not the purpose of the visit.
