Shonagh Manson

Biography

Shonagh Manson joined the GLA in October 2017. Overseeing the Mayor’s Culture Strategy for London and his vision for London as a 24 hour city, she supports a team working on major new initiatives including London Borough of Culture, Culture Seeds, Creative Enterprise Zones and London’s first Cultural Infrastructure Plan. 

Shonagh was previously Director of Jerwood Charitable Foundation, Arts Advisor at the Wellcome Trust and General Manager of arts producing organisation Fuel. Shonagh is a Trustee of arts and environment charity Invisible Dust and a member of A New Direction’s Challenge London advisory group for cultural education. She lives in South London. 

Responsibilities

Responsible for supporting and sustaining London’s position as a world-class cultural capital, through high level advocacy and partnerships, the delivery of the Mayors Cultural Strategy and a range of policy and programmes.
