What do we get for £250 million?

OPDC Aerial
Created on
10 June 2019

The Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation (OPDC) exists to deliver a large-scale housing and regeneration project in North West London. When complete, it is predicted the entire redevelopment of Old Oak and Park Royal will deliver 25,500 new homes and 65,000 new jobs. [1]

In March 2019, the OPDC was awarded £250m from the Government’s Housing Infrastructure Fund (HIF) to kick-start development on the site.

  • How will the infrastructure be delivered?
  • How will this generate value for Londoners?
  • How will funding be generated from the OPDC land holdings to fund future infrastructure?

Tomorrow, the London Assembly Budget and Performance Committee will aim to identify the key risks and seek to understand how these are being managed.

The guests are:

  • Liz Pearce OBE, Chair OPDC
  • David Lunts, Interim Chief Executive Officer, OPDC
  • Jasbir Sandhu, Interim Chief Finance Officer, OPDC

The meeting will take place on Tuesday, June 11 from 10.00am in The Chamber at City Hall (The Queen’s Walk, London SE1).

Media and members of the public are invited to attend

The meeting can also be viewed LIVE via webcast and on our YouTube channel.
