Created on
20 September 2021

Jennifer Arcuri, Dr Elin Haf Davies, Chris Scattergood, Melinda Nicci and Kim Rihal have all attended Mayoral trade missions. In the third meeting to investigate the governance of London and Partners (L&P) and the Greater London Authority (GLA), these recipients will answer questions about their experience of the process.

  • How do businesses become involved with L&P and the GLA in relation to overseas visits and trade delegates?
  • How do businesses find out about the opportunities to receive sponsorship and to participate in trade missions?
  • What kind of application processes do organisations go through to join the Mayor’s International Business Programme?
  • What (if any) relationships do organisations need to have with the Mayor of London or GLA officers at the time of securing a place on the Mayor’s International Business Programme?

Tomorrow, the GLA Oversight Committee will discuss with L&P’s beneficiaries how they became involved with L&P/GLA and what impact their involvement has had on their business and any issues relating to access to GLA sponsorship and Mayoral trade missions.

The guests from 2pm are:

  • Dr Elin Haf Davies, CEO and founder, Aparito
  • Chris Scattergood, CRO and founder, FundamentalVR
  • Melinda Nicci, CEO and founder, Baby2Body
  • Kim Rihal, Co-Founder & Head of Partnerships, Equal Education

The guest from 3pm is:

  • Jennifer Arcuri, Entrepreneur, founder of Hacker House and Innotech Network

The meeting will take place on Tuesday, 21 September 2021 from 2pm, in the Chamber at City Hall (The Queen’s Walk, London SE1).

Media and members of the public are invited to attend.

The meeting can also be viewed LIVE or later via webcast or YouTube
