Is the Mayor’s regeneration team delivering growth?

Created on
05 March 2019

The GLA Regeneration Team funds the Mayor’s development priorities through programmes such as the Good Growth Fund. But there’s little information to make a clear assessment of the impact of these initiatives on deprivation and unemployment in London.

Much better transparency is needed by the Mayor on how millions of pounds of taxpayers’ money is spent and how it benefits Londoners.

The London Assembly Regeneration Committee will tomorrow examine the team’s work and how success is measured.

The following guests will attend:

  • Debbie Jackson, Interim Executive Director - Development, Enterprise and Environment, GLA
  • Nick Hodgson, Regeneration Director, Galliford Try Partnerships and Regeneration

The meeting will take place on Wednesday 6 March at 2pm in Committee Room 5, City Hall (The Queen’s Walk, London SE1).

Media and members of the public are invited to attend.

The meeting can also be viewed LIVE via the webcast and on our YouTube channel.
