The Mayor published his Transport Strategy for London in March 2018 which aimed to transform London's streets, improve public transport and create opportunities for new homes and jobs.
Since then, COVID-19 has drastically changed the way in which Londoners are travelling around the city. How will the pandemic change the way in which the Mayor delivers on his transport plans for London?
As we near the end of Sadiq Khan’s term as Mayor, the Transport Committee will discuss the progress that the Mayor has made on his transport strategy.
The guests are:
- Heidi Alexander, Deputy Mayor for Transport, GLA
- Andy Byford, Commissioner, TfL
- Dr Will Norman, Walking and Cycling Commissioner, GLA
The meeting will take place on Monday, 8 March 2021 from 2 PM. In line with Government advice, this meeting will take place virtually.
Media and members of the public can watch the meeting live here.
