The Mayor’s promotional agency London & Partners (L&P) has come in for some criticism over its governance and transparency.
The London Assembly Economy Committee issued a rare summons for documents in October 2018 to understand its claim to have added £340 million gross value to London’s economy.
The Mayor says L&P plays a vital role during Brexit uncertainties as rival cities attempt to lure London companies abroad.
On Tuesday, the London Assembly Budget and Performance Committee will investigate these and other issues including how L&P spends its £13.7 million budget and the effectiveness of its future plans.
The guests are:
- Laura Citron, Chief Executive, L&P
- Andrew Cooke, Chief Operations Officer, L&P
The meeting will take place on Tuesday, March 5 from 10.00am in Committee Room 5 at City Hall (The Queen’s Walk, London SE1).
Media and members of the public are invited to attend
The meeting can also be viewed LIVE via webcast and on our YouTube channel.
