Residents in my constituency continue to contact me with their concerns about urban foxes. They report an increase in sightings and tell me that they are a growing nuisance. I note your reply to question 2488/2010 in which you make clear you are against culling. Are there any other measures that you could formulate into a London-wide strategy to deal with this problem?

  • Meeting date: 12 October 2011
The Junction Residents Association have been complaining for a long time about satnav systems directing lorry drivers down Tubbs Road and Nightingale Road only to find that the barrier does not allow them to go any further. The lorry drivers then have to turn around or squeeze through the narrow restrictions and have been causing damage to people's front gardens and destroying walls. Can you please notify the satnav companies that this road is restricted for large vehicles?

  • Reference: 2011/2898
  • Question by: Navin Shah
  • Meeting date: 12 October 2011
Following on from my question on this topic over a year ago, bus drivers on route 18, which terminates outside Sudbury and Harrow Road station, continue to use the station as a toilet as no new facilities have been installed yet. Your answer in July 2010 said the facilities would be in place at the beginning of this year but there is still no sign of this happening. Will you please ensure that the drivers are provided with the necessary basic facilities as soon as possible to stop this ongoing problem? What is the current timetable for completion of the...

Chairman Mayor

  • Reference: 2011/2894
  • Question by: Navin Shah
  • Meeting date: 12 October 2011
At what point was it made 'crystal clear that [you] could not afford to be semi-permanently out to lunch' and 'had to get down and dirty, to run things' for yourself as reported in the Purnell biography? Similarly, what did you envisage the role of the 'Chairman Mayor' to be? And, do you feel that your 'lack of managerial skills' has had a negative impact on your Mayoralty?
