In the Daily Telegraph the Mayor claimed he would be looking into why young Londoners are losing out to migrants in the job market. However, immigration was not part of the terms of reference of that inquiry and the call for evidence has already closed. As such, it is not clear how the inquiry will look at immigration and, more importantly, what opportunities will be available for relevant stakeholders and experts to contribute to this line of inquiry.
