I have received complaints about poor reliability in bus services in this area, currently served by the C10 and 381 buses. It has been suggested that an easy means of improving this service may be to consider extending route 199 to loop round Salter Road and Lower Road or run the 47 or 188 via Redriff/Salter Road instead of Lower Road. Please could bus routes in this area be reviewed?

Comparing 2011/12 with 2009/10, bus passenger numbers have increased by 3.9% but kms operated are only up slightly, by 1.4%. How much of the increase in kilometres operated was on routes 12, 28, 25, 29, 38, 73, 149, 207, 436, 453, 507, 521 and N29?

I have been contacted by the Albert Association who are concerned about the contra flow bus lane running northwards from the Elephant and Castle along London Road, SE1 to St. George's Circus and into Waterloo Road. There has been many serious accidents and a teenage girl died as a result of her injuries received following an accident on 12th May. The Albert Association are asking for the removal of the contraflow, as they believe this will reduce accidents. What assessment have TfL made and what plans are there to reduce speeds and improve safety?
