I've been asked to raise a question on behalf of someone who took part in the recent Nightrider on 9 June for Greenacres. About a fifth of the way through the ride, her bike broke to extent it was not possible for her to continue. At the suggestion of the organisers she borrowed a bike from Waterloo Place. On completion of the ride she was not able to secure a refund from TfL despite initially being assured by TfL staff that she would probably be given a refund. She's subsequently had to pay £35 out of her own pocket. Would...

Are you concerned that the current dispute between London Councils and TfL involving TfL's continued refusal to acknowledge that this year's underspend on the Taxicard scheme has been the result of boroughs making difficult decisions over charging and subsidy levels and insistence on the recovery of £791k may put the future of the entire scheme at risk?

I have received complaints from bus users in Crystal Palace about the apparent inaccuracy of the bus countdown sign at the 'Crystal Palace Parade' stop, heading towards Sydenham. I am told that frequently long waits of up to twenty minutes or more or displayed on the countdown sign for many of the bus routes using the stop only for buses to then turn up unexpectedly. The countdown sign seems to indicate a quite poor service when in fact this is often not the case, which does not really help TfL's cause. Please could this be investigated?
