  • Meeting date: 04 July 2012
As part of the revamp of Leicester Square - funded from your Great Outdoors programme - "more than 11,000 square metres of attractive granite paving" has been laid. As you know, much of London's flooding problem is exacerbated by homeowners paving over their gardens with non-permeable materials, thus increasing the strain on London's drains and sewers. Has the government signalled it will adopt the RE:NEW programme as part of a national programme and do you have any revised target dates for the retrofit of the 200,000th home?
