As part of the revamp of Leicester Square - funded from your Great Outdoors programme - "more than 11,000 square metres of attractive granite paving" has been laid. As you know, much of London's flooding problem is exacerbated by homeowners paving over their gardens with non-permeable materials, thus increasing the strain on London's drains and sewers. With this in mind, can you please advise me how much of Leicester Square was paved before the revamp and how much is paved now? And can you please also advise how much of Leicester Square is now covered with permeable material compared to...
