Almost a quarter (23%) of those who responded to a Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) poll said the London 2012 Olympic Games led to a 'negative' impact on their business. With many small businesses adversely affected by the Games (as you made clear in your LBC appearance on Friday 28th September), will you press HM Treasury for a minimal amount of the Olympic underspend of £476million to help business in the London Boroughs most affected to kick-start their high streets in the run up to Christmas?

Do you share my concern that the front desk services and Safer Neighbourhood Teams for Hampstead when you close the station could be moved to the Police Stations at West Hampstead or Kentish Town approximately 40 minutes walk from Hampstead Police Station so it would take a long time for Safer Neighbourhood Officers to arrive at the ward and for members of the public wanting to use a front desk service to go to another station which would not be adequate compensatory provision?
