Manchester City Council, in partnership with Transport for Greater Manchester and the Greater Manchester Bus Operators Association, has created a CityPLAN code of conduct encouraging buses to drive at 20 miles per hour within the city centre, drive at 10mph or less in busy locations and to avoid accelerating or braking rapidly. Would you encourage London boroughs to support introducing a similar code in their town centres to improve road safety?
