Piccadilly Line Signalling

The Piccadilly line will be getting new trains from 2025. However, this upgrade does not go hand in hand with an upgrade to signalling along the service. Residents have expressed concerns that despite the new trains a poor service will continue. You have previously stated that this is due to lack of central Government funding. Given that we have had a change of Government, have you discussed funding for signalling upgrades along the Piccadilly line?

Met Police Offence Brought to Justice Outcome Rate

HMICFRS’ Annual Assessment of Policing in England and Wales shows that in the year ending 31 March 2023, the Met Police had an offence brought to justice outcome rate of 4.7%, the second to worst rate in England and Wales. How are you working with the Met Police to ensure more crimes get solved, a crucial factor to regain trust in our Police Service?

Inspection of Youth Justice Services (YJS) in Bexley (2)
