The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence has produced a Quality Standard that recommends that “Local authorities involve community and voluntary groups in designing and managing public open spaces”. Is this something you would want to encourage through the London Plan? If so, how would you do this?

In December 2018 the National Infrastructure Commission published its interim Future of Freight report. It states that “An absolute focus on delivering homes without consideration of how freight will service growth will be of detriment to both housing and freight. Without better recognition of the value of freight in planning, the freight system will encounter more pinch points, restricting its capacity to operate efficiently and deliver goods in the most sustainable way possible.” Can you explain how your draft London Plan balances the needs of housing and freight?

Should there be a more level field in parking charges, between out of town shopping centres and our High Streets? For instance, do you think all shopping centres should charge for parking?
