BAME women have been particularly underrepresented at all ranks of the Metropolitan Police Service. When the London Assembly’s Police and Crime Committee looked at this issue in 2014, it found that only 4% of new recruits into the Met were BAME women. What work has taken place to improve this and has it worked?
