HS2’s own research recognises the ecological importance of Wormwood Scrubs, but the HS2 proposes a scheme that would divert a sewer into the protected ‘Local Nature Reserve’ and ‘Sites of Importance for Nature Conservation’ of Wormwood Scrubs. Campaigners are seeking urgent intervention by local authorities and MPs to try and stop devastation of ecology.
