A recent Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) test exercise including within Brent, involving special constables acting as test shoppers, found that more than half of retailers tested sold knives to potentially underage customers. Given this, whilst the MPS have said they will be undertaking targeted operations involving those shops tested, will you consider taking London wide action to ensure that all retailers are abiding by the law and are not selling knives to underage customers?
