The Internet Watch Foundation’s 2020 Annual Report showed a 77% increase in reports of self-generated sexualised material online with analysis showing that in 80% of these cases the victims were 11-13 year-old girls. Of course, this data is not specific to London but it does show a concerning pattern of girls being groomed online. Given the increasingly gendered nature of this issue, what more are you doing through your VAWG programmes to protect and safeguard young girls online?
