  • Question by: Anne Clarke

Are you aware of the large number of antisemitic attacks on Jewish people on public transport on the weekend of 3 rd and 4 th July, which were publicised on twitter? X-buses

  • Reference: 2021/3055
  • Question by: Anne Clarke
  • Meeting date: 15 July 2021
Has TfL undertaken any assessment of the viability of introducing “X” bus services, similar to those in use in Paris? These are special buses on existing routes which only stop at every few stops, and act as town centre bus hoppers, allowing for faster services. What would be the pros and cons of such a suggestion?

Plastic seating on buses

E-scooter trial

  • Reference: 2021/3052
  • Question by: Anne Clarke
  • Meeting date: 15 July 2021
The present e-scooter trial does not appear to require riders to wear safety gear such as helmets and high-viz in the way cyclists should. Why is this? Will you consider making this mandatory in the future?

Swiss Cottage bus stop D

  • Reference: 2021/3051
  • Question by: Anne Clarke
  • Meeting date: 15 July 2021
Bus Stop D in Swiss Cottage used to serve 5 bus routes, the 113, 187, 268, 46 and 13. It served as a major bus interchange directly outside Swiss Cottage station. Due to the development at 100 Avenue Road, a separate stop has been introduced on Adelaide Road for the 46 and 13. This is extremely inconvenient, and involves using 5 crossings to get from the former stop to the latter. Given the long delays and uncertain future of the development at 100 Avenue Road, will you reinstall the 13 and 46 stops at bus stop D?

  • Meeting date: 15 July 2021

  • Question by: Elly Baker
  • Meeting date: 15 July 2021

Flexi Season Tickets (4)

  • Reference: 2021/3047
  • Question by: Elly Baker
  • Meeting date: 15 July 2021
Peak Carnet tickets, which offer a discount of 10%, will be replaced by the flexi season tickets. Carnets are purchased in packs of 5 or 10 and are valid for 3 months. A flexi season ticket is for 8 journeys over just 28 days. Do you agree that Peak Carnets are a more flexible option than the flexi season ticket and that the Government should bring them back into use?
