I understand that the Canada Water police hub was formerly based in Seven Islands Leisure Centre, in facilities in the Canada Water development. Due to redevelopment, the police were evicted from the premises, but decided not to take up an offer of new premises there, instead opting to base themselves in Borough – over a 20 minute bus ride away. Can you confirm why the offer of new premises was not taken, as this is a serious blow for the local community?
