Residents of Lambeth are upset about the intrusive effects of noise pollution from modified motorbikes. You advised approximately 12 months ago that Transport for London (TfL) had no immediate plans to implement acoustic cameras but was awaiting the outcome of a Department for Transport trial of such cameras across the UK [Ref 2022/3192]. What is TfL’s current position on acoustic cameras and when will it take advantage of this new technology to ease noise pollution on busy TfL roads in Lambeth?
