Battersea Bridge Safety Improvements

  • Reference: 2023/3445
  • Question by: Tony Devenish
  • Meeting date: 14 September 2023
In the light of the tragic death of a young cyclist on Battersea Bridge it is vital that safety improvements to Battersea Bridge are delivered as swiftly as possible and yet TfL seems insistent on introducing what are in my view flawed plans which local residents do not want. Local councillors Caroline de La Soujeole & Tom Pridham recently wrote to TfL with the results of their residents’ survey. Will you ensure that the appropriate TfL officers meet with them to discuss the findings and to seek to reach genuine agreement on effective ways to make Battersea Bridge safer?

Did TfL reimburse her? How many people are you aware of who have had to pay fines after believing they had correctly paid to enter the ULEZ?
