Many customers caught up in the chaos of power outages on the Elizabeth line on the 7th December 2023 have complained of poor communication from TfL while they waited up to five hours to be evacuated. Why did the evacuation of some trains take so long to complete? What has been done to update evacuation procedures in light of this event? And what will be done to ensure communication with passengers in events such as this is clearer in the future?
