Summary of request
Under the Freedom of Information Act, please provide details of the total income generated by the Mayor of London’s Council Tax Precept from each London borough in 2017/18, along with the Council Tax Base of each of those Boroughs?
Please also state what “Minimum Payment” was required of Council Tax Support claimants in relation to the Mayor of London’s Council Tax Precept in each London borough in 2017/18?
Finally, please clarify whether the Mayor of London has the legal power to set a different Minimum Payment on his Precept than is set by local councillors on the locally-retained element of Council Tax under their CTS scheme?
