FOI - Deleted tweet Whitehorse Road incident [Aug 2023]

1. The text of a tweet posted on 24/07/2023 on the Mayor of London's official Twitter account and then deleted shortly afterwards relating to the Metropolitan Police and a video showing officers interacting with a suspected fare evader.
2. Any internal correspondence (including but not exclusive to Teams messages, WhatsApp messages, text messages etc) relating to the above.

This doesn't seem to contain any information regarding the tweet that was initially sent and deleted from the Mayor's account. Can you confirm this is ALL responsive information in relation to my initial request? I note, for instance, it only contains one email chain and no other communications of any form.

Our response

You asked for information in relation to the deleted tweet on the MoL twitter account. The information we issued is the information we hold in relation to the tweet on the MoL account. For context, there was a MoL tweet that went out, but it went out without full Mayoral clearance in error. It was then promptly deleted and replaced with the final version once that was signed off at 12:47, as shown in the correspondence already released:
