Biography
James Ryan is the Mayoral Director for Communications.
James has held a number of senior roles working for the Mayor, most recently serving as Head of News and Senior Adviser.
Prior to this, he worked in communications and public affairs in both the private sector and for the Labour Party.
He also has a strong local government background, including serving as a councillor.
James holds a degree in History and a master's degree in international development. Before moving into communications and public affairs, he worked as a classical singer and continues to sing in his spare time.
