The London Assembly Transport Committee has written to Transport for London (TfL) and the British Transport Police, calling for a decision to withdraw blue light capability from TfL Emergency Response Unit vehicles to be reversed.
ERU vehicles were given blue light status following the London Assembly review of the emergency response to the 7/7 tube and bus bombings in 2005.
