Letter to the Mayor on the delivery of the 2024 manifesto commitments

The London Assembly Budget and Performance Committee has written to the Mayor of London, calling for a clear breakdown of his manifesto commitments, including which have been achieved, which require further funding, and which are now unlikely to be achieved. 

The letter follows the Committee investigation which sought to:

• assess progress against the Mayor’s 2024 manifesto commitments, a third of the way into his mayoralty.
• establish clarity on the scope and expected outcomes of the Mayor’s manifesto commitments.
• examine the key risks and barriers to successful delivery of the Mayor’s commitments within the remainder of the term.
• understand how the GLA’s Mandates and Delivery Plans framework aligns with the Mayor’s manifesto and how they are being used to plan, track and report progress.
