Delays processing taxi and private hire licences - Letter to Deputy Mayor

The London Assembly Transport Committee has written to the Deputy Mayor for Transport to express its serious concerns regarding TfL delays in processing taxi and private hire licences, particularly existing drivers whose licences have expired and are unable to work until a renewal is issued. The letter says that the Committee wants a meeting with the Deputy Mayor and an urgent review of the actions TfL is taking.
