On September 6th, the London Assembly held a question and answer session with the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC).

Topics discussed included the financial arrangements with West Ham United Football Club.

After the meeting, media reports suggested the Club accused the LLDC of misleading the public during the appearance.



On September 10th, Chair of the LLDC, Sir Peter Hendy CBE refuted those claims in a letter to the Chairman of the Assembly, Tony Arbour AM.

On September 11th, Baroness Brady, Vice-Chair of West Ham United wrote to the Chairman of the Assembly, Tony Arbour AM to clarify that at no time did West Ham state that LLDC officials had lied.
