This report puts forward measures to prevent further industrial action across the London Underground network. It calls on the Mayor, unions and Tube managers to take the following action to prevent further strikes:

• Joint negotiation and conflict management training between London Underground and union representatives at depot level
• Secure longer-term pay deals to create stability among staff and limit disruption to Underground improvements
• The restoration and adherence to steps in the protocol: ‘Machinery for Negotiation and Consultation’, which all parties signed up to in 2000
