Assembly response to Government sets out the role Mayor can play in improving Londoners' health.

Our response to Healthy Lives, Healthy People focuses on the potential role of the Mayor in promoting public health and tackling health inequalities in London.

As expressed In our response to Liberating the NHS, the Assembly believes there are clear opportunities for the Mayor to have a role in leading Londonwide public health improvement, given his responsibility for structural policy issues that impact on public health such as air pollution, transport, planning and housing.
