During 2018-19:

• We recommended cutting the use of single use packaging in our ‘Bottled water’ report and the Mayor has committed to supporting that, as well as to work to reduce the use of single‐use plastic bottles through installing water fountains.

• We broke the news about how much the Crossrail delay was going to cost TfL in lost passenger income (£200m).

• We questioned the Mayor, the TfL Commissioner and the former Chair of Crossrail about the delay to the project in an effort to find out who was to blame, having summonsed correspondence and reports that had not been available to the public.

• We uncovered just how much the London Stadium and West Ham had spent fighting each other in court (£4m) and we had both sides before us to present their case.
