Data on housing schemes in London

Key information

Publication type: General

Publication date:

The following tables have been provided to the Committee by Alan Benson, Head of Housing and Homelessness, following the discussion at the Committee on 2 December 2008.

200 largest residential sites PDF200 largest residential sites CSVA listing of the 200 largest schemes that were either not started or under construction at 31/03/2008. Note that this includes schemes where some of the units were already complete or superseded by this date and others that may subsequently have been completed, superseded or lapsed. As we are looking at the whole scheme, the 123,501 units in the 200 largest schemes needs to be compared with the total pipeline at scheme level which is 207,822, now representing roughly 60%.

Report on the number of bedrooms by tenure PDFReport on the number of bedrooms by tenure CSVA report on bedrooms by tenure, combining not started and under construction, highlighting the number of family housing units in the pipeline across London. The total units is lower than 194,000 because there will be pre-April 2004 permissions still live that lack bedroom information, but also data corrections have reduced the total number to under 193,000 units.
