Calls for MOPAC to support SNBs after pandemic crisis

The Chair of the London Assembly Police & Crime Committee has written to the Mayor’s Office for Police and Crime (MOPAC) about the continued need of financial support for Safer Neighbourhood Boards (SNBs). This comes after a funding cut to SNBs and the COVID-19 pandemic.

Some of the calls the committee has made in the letter to the MOPAC are:

• To support SNBs throughout the current funding application process
• Provide details of how it has been supporting SNBs during the pandemic
• Ensure all communities are represented by SNBs
