What’s in store for London’s transport?
The London Plan is the Mayor's blueprint for how London will grow and develop over the coming decades, shaping decisions on jobs, transport, environment, housing as well as planning infrastructure across the capital. With the draft London Plan now out for public consultation, the London Assembly is undertaking a 2-week programme of scrutiny to assess whether its proposals can meet London's future needs and support communities across the city.
Tomorrow, the London Assembly Transport Committee will examine the draft London Plan with particular focus on the transport infrastructure requirements, sustainable access measures and safeguarding of industrial land. The guests are:
- Seb Dance, Deputy Mayor for Transport, GLA
- Lucinda Turner, Director of Spatial Planning, TfL
- Jack Maizels, London Plan and Planning Obligations Manager, TfL
The meeting will take place on Tuesday 8 September at 10am in the Chamber at City Hall, Kamal Chunchie Way, E16 1ZE.
