Mayor to explain revision of his Transport Strategy

A Transport for London (TfL) Consultation on “Improving air quality and Londoners' health, tackling climate change and reducing congestion” opened in May 2022 and closed at the start of August 2022.  

The consultation included: 

  • Expanding the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) London-wide from 29 August 2023 and making changes to Auto Pay and Penalty Charge Notice levels 
  • Revision of the Mayor's Transport Strategy (MTS) 
  • Shaping the future of road user charging 

Tomorrow, at a meeting of the full Assembly, Members will ask the Mayor of London several questions about the proposed revision of his transport strategy, including the expansion of the ULEZ.

The guests are:

  • Sadiq Khan, Mayor of London and Chair of TfL
  • Seb Dance, Deputy Mayor for Transport

The meeting will take place on Thursday, 17 November 2022 from 2.00pm, in The Chamber, at City Hall, Kamal Chunchie Way

Media and members of the public are invited to attend.
