London Assembly starts its new term

On Monday, the London Assembly will hold its Annual Meeting – which will signal the start of its new year. 

During the meeting, the London Assembly will elect a new Chair and Deputy Chair.

Assembly Members will also agree the establishment and membership of a range of Committees, to lead investigations into issues including policing, health, housing, transport and the Mayor’s Budget.

The meeting will take place in the Chamber at City Hall on Monday 11 May 2026 at 11am.

Media and members of the public are invited to attend.
