Following the London Assembly Police and Crime Committee's first meeting investigating grooming gangs, the Committee has written to Baroness Longfield CBE, Chair of the Independent Inquiry into Grooming Gangs, outlining the findings so far, and calling for the national inquiry to include a thorough investigation into how grooming gangs have operated in London, how they are linked to other parts of the country, and how agencies have responded.
