Towards a new London Plan Consultation
Planning and Regeneration Committee – The Chamber, City Hall, Kamal Chunchie Way, 2pm
The Planning and Regeneration Committee will ask experts, Borough representatives and Greater London Authority (GLA) officers responsible for the London Plan about the Mayor’s proposals, to inform the Committee’s response to the consultation. The guests are:

London's Place in the Government's Devolution Reforms
GLA Oversight Committee – The Chamber, City Hall, Kamal Chunchie Way, 11am
In December last year, the Government outlined its proposals for a new devolution framework in the English Devolution White Paper. Members of the GLA Oversight Committee will question representatives from global cities about mayoral and city authority powers, to examine lessons London can learn from the powers and functions of Mayors and city authorities in other global cities. Building on the Green Belt
Environment Committee – The Chamber, City Hall, Kamal Chunchie Way, 2pm
In May 2025, the Mayor announced that “City Hall’s new position will be to actively explore the release of parts of London’s Green Belt for development.”
The Environment Committee will speak to environmental experts and the Deputy Mayor for Planning, Regeneration and the Fire Service about the environmental impact of releasing green belt for development. The guests are:
