MOPAC – 10 years on
Police and Crime Committee
The Police and Crime Committee will publish a letter to the Mayor with the findings of its investigation into the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC), ten years on from its creation.
The Committee is calling for regular updates from MOPAC on how it is supporting the Met, over concerns it is more reactive than proactive in its oversight of the force.

Budget and Performance Committee
The Budget and Performance Committee will make a series of recommendations in its response to the Mayor’s Draft Consultation Budget for 2023-24.
This report raises serious and urgent questions that must be addressed to deal with the big financial challenges facing the Mayor and the Greater London Authority (GLA).

London’s environmental priorities

How can the London Assembly help to ensure that campaigners and ordinary Londoners can understand and access environmental decision-making in London?
The Environment Committee will hold a roundtable discussion with representatives from London-based environmental groups on what the Mayor’s key green priorities should be for 2023.

Counter-terrorism in London

The Mayor’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Strategy
GLA Oversight Committee – The Chamber, City Hall, Kamal Chunchie Way, 2pm
The Mayor’s 2018 Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Strategy came to the end of its lifespan in 2022. A revised strategy was due to be published in June 2022 but has been delayed multiple times.
The GLA Oversight Committee will meet to consider how the Mayor is meeting his duties under the Equalities Act through his Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Strategy.
